@NasTheWild Bystander effect. The more people there are, the more you are less likely to do anything, because you assume someone else will. Not only that, you dont want to look like an idiot to everyone else. Surely, one of them would have said something if it was a real danger.
Ever see an accident, did you stop your car and help out in any way or just drive past?

That bystander effect experiment is a classic. I feel like that particular experiment wouldnt work on me since ive seen it so many times, lol. Id just get up and say "oh yeah this is that bystander experiment ". Thats not to say the effect doesnt work on me, because it does, and I remember a few situations in which fell for it.
One time my mom saw someone lying in the street. She called 911 and they assumed my mom was the one who hit the person and told her they were coming to arrest her, lol
