FREE Sheet music available for this track - here's how:
1) Go to: http://www.calcatelli.com/contact/
2) Fill out the form & say you want the 'Broken Record' sheet music

If you want to have fun, learn it, record it & upload it to YouTube (let me know if you do!)

Background: I haven't played the piano in 100+ days. Fortunately, though, Apple offers a solution for 'broken' pianists & composers like me. In Garageband - Apple's music software - you can use Musical Typing, a cool feature that allows you to play your computer's keyboard as if it were a real piano. Check the video out!

While en route to NZ, I slipped on a wet floor with no warning signs at the Dubai International Airport and ended up with multiple fractures on both hips.

I was able to avoid surgery by being stuck to my bed with no movement at all and after 100+ am on road to recovery, ready to record my new solo piano CD by the end of the year!

PS - On http://www.calcatelli.com you can register to my free newsletter and receive a free full-length solo piano music CD, sheet music, discounts and cool news! See you there!

  • that's pretty great, dude! how's your hip? u able to walk?

  • @officialdigimogames Hey! Come to think of it, that sound may be available in Garageband only if you have Logic Pro or additional Jam Packs installed... You can try playing this musical typing track with one of the default Garageband piano sounds or even one of the weird synth modules! Let me know how it works out. And most importantly - have fun with it :)

  • @christiancalcatelli hey i can't find the celesta setting :(

  • Hey there, thanks so much for much for giving me the sheet music! I just tried it and it's so awesome to actually play a song that you've seen a video of :D

Once I've learned it well enough, I will make a vid too and upload it.

  • @christiancalcatelli Thx for that and I'll check it out and I'll keep updated on your channel! :)

  • @lovestaceyx3 Hi there & thanks for watching! As soon as my new piano CD is finished I'll create a tutorial & other 'musical typing' songs. Figuring out Garageband is a great first step to take towards piano playing - don't give up on your music dreams! :)

  • @JessicaMonsterrr Hi Jessica - thanks for watching & commenting! You're actually right - it is kinda creepy/mystical! :) I guess it's also the weird sound of the celesta that gives that vibe! For more music, signup to my free newsletter from my site! Thanks for your support!

  • @Narutoxbleach503 Hey - I hope that's a positive affirmation! ;)
