Minnetonka 2007 Senior Prank: Pillow Fight

Originally Planned by Josh Keenan via Facebook, a pillow fight would take place in the "Commons" at 12:05 PM on Monday June 4th, 2007, right after the 4th period final. This would be the graduating classes "Senior Prank".

Over 300 people said they would attend over Facebook, and word of mouth was spread to almost everyone.

As Monday came, many people had forgotten thier pillows. Those who had remembered carried them in thier backpacks, despite the common knowledge it would happen.

As 4th period, the class before the scheduled prank, the principal of Minnetonka High School, Mr Dave Adney, made a video announcement, and told everyone to be safe and to not hurt each other, just like our parents would say when we were having a PILLOW FIGHT.

His staff took this as a "Stop all pillow fights" command, which is wasn't.

All of the schools hall monitors, paras, a few counsilors and teachers as well as the police liason patrolled the 'war zone'.

A crowd of over 500 drew to watch was would happen.

Many people, seeing the security, decided against partaking in the festivity.

An unknown person took the first swing, and soon was joined my many of thier peers.

Video cameras and Cell phones all around recorded the approximately 1-2 minute spectical before breaking it up.

They last person running around before being cornered was none other than the coordinator, Josh Keenan.

As the crowd dispersed, the hall monitors and other people of authority confiscated all pillows, saying they could be picked up at the end of the day.

Come the end of the day, I, myself (Who participated while a friend taped) spent 30 minutes trying to find where the pillows were held only to find they were not going to be returned, according to one Mr. Erickson.

our senior prank was to plant a tree in the middle of our track at the front of the school at like...4 in the morning. haha;
