  • What an instrument! And a timbre in produces... like swimming in french merengue and buttercream.

  • I love the lower register. She is unique. Always making look so easy. Il mio cuore prende volo al sentirla. Brava!

  • Ouch! - cor anglais at 0:36 :s

  • OMG, I would so let Marilyn Horne cut my hair.....and in that dress too.

  • shivers this is the best lady singer to ever sing this wonderful aria well shes my favourite

Maravillosa

  • Finally, someone who can actually sing it in pitch

  • @ididete - like blackkat005 said, she's a mezzo who happens to have high notes.

  • @Rig0letto - I think I responded to you once before. It was not TOTALLY out of tune. Her first diminuendo was flat; the horns are always flat especially the English horn in her second attempt at her interlude, but for you to say "it is totally out of tune, sorry for your ears..." makes me think your mind has gone and your ears are going next. You're full of shit and have nothing to back it up. Perhaps she had the orchestra set at A=441 or 439. That would screw up your "perfect pitch." Get a life

  • Beautiful voice and execution but I also prefer Obraztsova !

  • I absolutely love this performance. The best I have heard of this song. Thank you for sharing.
