"Julie" is taken from "Foxy" founder / frontman / songwriter / lead vocalist, Ish Ledesma's debut self titled solo album, "Ish" on Clouds / TK Records in 1979.
After releasing 3 top selling lp's...."1976 Foxy / 1978 Get Off & 1978 Hot Numbers", it was only a matter of time before Foxy's frontman was going to release a solo lp after the success Foxy was having.
In fact, all the members of Foxy are performing on Ish's debut along with the top studio musicians of the day like the "Brecker Brothers" on Saxes & Horns.
Ish's debut album is filled with the typical grooves of "Foxy" as well as,some Jazz / Rock & Funk & Keyboard driven tunes.
The "Ish" album was produced by...Ish,, A. Holloway Masters,,J. Masters & M. Radcliffe.
