Wow, in Cali the builder is on the hook for any serious defects for ten years.

@mineralt - not in GA. All the builder has to do is pay off the inspectors and the builder knows he can just go bankrupt and change his business name and start new if he gets sued. Or, keep the homeowners in a suit long enough until they run out of money and have to settle.

this is a perfect example of why a pre purchase home inspection is so important. Saving four hundred bucks or so cost you hundreds of thousands.

No house it perfect but the shoddy construction is terrible. Hope you make it to the end of the arbitration and come out on top.

You should park a trailer in the garden. I got a feeling this house might collapse
