What can you accomplish in 360 hours? The Chinese sustainable building company, Broad Group, has achieved another impossible feat - building a 30-story tall hotel in 360 hours.

You may ask "why so fast?" and "is it safe?"

Prefabricated modular buildings have many advantages:

Higher precision in fabrication (+/- 0.2mm).
More coordinated on-site construction management.
Shorter construction time span.
Lower construction waste.
Health and
Energy efficiency.

  • it was assembled in 15 days. The parts you see them bringing in were made elsewhere. Instead of doing the construction there, they did it off site. It's called pre-fab.They didn't have to pour concrete or anything because they had already done it elsewhere. The support structure was already riveted and welded and just assembled there. Also the building is highly symmetrical because it's a hotel. Also it's out in the middle of nowhere, so no traffic or pedestrians or noise complaints.

  • BUILDING LEVEL : MOTHER FUCKING CHINES.

  • that's soooo cool:) !!!

  • @camoflux Ture! However it is awesome not because how fast they can assemble, but how fluent they can manage the assembling process. The management, cooperation can sure be used somewhere else, like disaster control and rescue.

  • kzalien, you aren't worth talking to.

  • O_O

  • that building would never been built in the U.S. Because of the local unions workers would have never worked the hours that needed to accomplished the job they would need at least 3 breaks and a hour lunch in a 8 hour shift along with the weekends off

  • Ахуеть. (надеюсь меня никто не понял )))), я имел ввиду класс!)
