  • @snapper842002 Says you

In reality , if the likes of Duke Ellington , Miles Davis , Charles Mingus , etc etc had existed in the 18th and 19th centuries , they'd be at the helm of the music world then too.

  • @Zenny1410

wow, Im glad someone is including jug band music in a history of jazz class. all to often jazz history class' seem to teach as if jazz started in the 1940's. Im glad someone with the power to teach is hip to reality for a change.

  • Estupendo, muchas gracias por compartirlo.

  • 00:34 to 00:40 look at the guy on the far right with the jug

  • HAHA! the banjo made me smile, lol nd the way that man uses his hat to fan his feet like they're on fire! jus gettin into it!

  • Out of 56,000 views, 50,000 of them are due to the class History of Jazz at UF.

  • Nice..

  • Where's the whistelers?amisthorn has no sense of humor.

  • good ol jug band, gotta love it

  • @cameronjacobsUF you mean devolved? that guitar they're using is a sophisticated spanish instrument. Music of the 20th century takes comparitively little skill to produce compared to music of the 18th or 19th centuries

  • the guitarist looks like a young bill Cosby and the banjo player looks like Danny glover (the president in the movie 2012)

  • It's amazing how much music has evolved!

  • Great cesars ghost...what in the hell? LOL

  • Thank you for posting this. Fantastc

  • its funny how in one shot the center jugger is in the middle, then it cuts to him in a completely different position
