The sound of neptune , i haven't hear this part on any other vid of neptune .
from the Nasa Voyager .

Neptune is the outermost planet of the gas giants. It has an equatorial diameter of 49,500 kilometers (30,760 miles). If Neptune were hollow, it could contain nearly 60 Earths. Neptune orbits the Sun every 165 years. It has eight moons, six of which were found by Voyager. A day on Neptune is 16 hours and 6.7 minutes. Neptune was discovered on September 23, 1846 by Johann Gottfried Galle, of the Berlin Observatory, and Louis d'Arrest, an astronomy student, through mathematical predictions made by Urbain Jean Joseph Le Verrier.

  • For some reason i feel cold and lonely, maybe because of the way it sounds. O_O

  • Neptune scares the crap out of me. It's like a big blue circle with a staring eye in the middle of it.

  • thumbs up if ur freezing and the video made u ?

  • How can anyone dislike this & why ???

  • @Hoffnungster sound different...than hearing sounds on Earth. It's like if you took a swallow of helium, your vocal range changes temporarily. That's how it is on other planets, theoretically. Your voice could naturally (on our planet) sound like a normal voice--according to your gender--but on a planet with different properties than our own, your voice may produce a baritone sound. It's simple science, really. Very interesting, though. Simplicity is usually an interesting topic.

  • @Hoffnungster (Science geeks correct me if I'm wrong)

Sound cannot travel through space; it impossible. Because it is a vacuum, there is no air present within the depths of space. Sound is produced by vibrations against the air. Without air, there is no sound. The way we hear this is by the conversion of light waves into radio waves, which are then converted into audio signals, also known as sound. If you were to set foot on any of the planets, you would hear sound. It would sound different.

  • man imagin going in the gas or water ( something like that) it would be freeky you would die less than a second

  • OMG. YOU GUYS. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE ONE ICE MISSION ON HALO 1 :D

  • wait...if Neptune is the gas giant planet, so there is no land on it ??? no ground??? i imagine it and i feel scared

  • reminds me of earthbound...

    the beginning specifically.
