I just finished reading this book in English class yesterday. It's the most chilling, depressing book I've ever read, next to Helter Skelter. I totally recommend it. You won't be able to put it down.
@chuckparello I totally agree with you there. I just rewatched it on DVD, it's really brilliant, it's dark... it's melancholic and shocking... one of the best.
Um my teacher told me this was a really good book, but not to watch the movie cuz it was 'disturbing' and im like 'Ok.'

I love this book and this movie. The movie was as audacious as the book. If the transitions are not being studied in film school, they should be.

I generally dislike black and white movies, but this one looks too good to miss. I loved the book. Eerie and sad, but a wonderful read.

Watch this one and tell me you don't get nightmares. Absolutely one of the best American films of all time.
