When multiplying mixed fractions, so many simply multiply the numerator?
Thkmra 1 week ago
@Thkmra
The easiest way to deal with mixed numbers is to the convert them to improper fractions and then you'll be able to simply multiply across on the top and bottom.
I hope that helps! :-)

Why dont we CROSS MULTIPLY ? on the first problem ?
j0mezzy 6 months ago
@j0mezzy
We use cross products to solve proportions. This is just multiplication of fractions.
If the problem were 7/9 = x/27, we could use cross products to solve for x.
I hope that helps! Keep working hard and asking good questions! :-)
