Ce n'est pas une improvisation, c'est un cantique traditionnel à Jeanne d'Arc " A l'Etendard" composé, paroles musique, par deux chanoines d'Orléans que j'ai chanté dans ma jeunesse ...

A beautiful sound from this fine instrument, faithfully captured in the recording. A joyful and brilliant performance, full of dynamic energy and forward motion. Reminiscent of the power, liveliness and inventiveness of Widor. The textures seem to sing along in a crest of majestic sonic waves. This is inspired playing!
