  • True true....I get sick of people giving DSM a bad name simply because they beat the shit out of a 10-18 year old car and something breaks on them. What do they expect? DSM actualy had high ratings in the 90's when they were NEW! Car and drivers 10 best and a few other car awards. People just think they have a race car because they bought a turbo charged car. Worn out stock parts dont = race and that something people need to get through there head i guess lol. One word....Rebuild!

  • Man its no where near that easy to do...You have to change wiring harness....ECU...You have to have a 1g MAF sensor, o2 houseing, downpipe, turbo, turbo manifold, turbo intake...etc etc. Thats just to name a few. Its easier almost to just but a turbo car!

  • something missing ? take a guess? ...........i was wrong i guessed a turbo

  • lookin nice and sexxy!!!(: hope you turbo it soon. im planning on getting vids up of my 1g soon

  • clutch and transmission problems occur much more often in vehicles with larger than stock size wheels. typically going up 1 inch in wheel size won't hurt anything but i've seen it many times...

  • peace of shit non turbo!

  • i totally agree

  • Must have been a bad motor. Mine has been flawless. The squirters are a failure area for oil pressure. You are better off without them. They have kits for removing them, and it is a recommended upgrade for reliability.

  • nope just got to hook up the t-case and drive shaft and your awd again. Don't recomend doing it without welded diff tho I done seen what happen to my buddies diff and it was herendus

  • yea last time I ran an N/A motor on a build shit came undone real fast and was looking for a block in two weeks. but It could have been just a bullshit dsm malfunction, but point is I will never run an N/A motor agian unless It has the squirters in it and all the other stuff because when I did that build I didn't know they had all the that down there.

  • The NT motor can handle the boost fine. I swapped in a NT motor into my 92 TSI AWD, run full boost all the time, no issues except having to run 93 octane fuel all the time. Motor has 145000 miles on it, never misses a beat.
