I played a 1600+ and did not expect to win so I made my opening a little creative!

  • You made a mistake on 33. R3e3+, the move would be 33.Rxf5... because [33. ... gxf5 34. Rg8+ and you'd win the Rock on a8]

  • @LordRNA you are right I'm so caught up with the advantage that I neglected to look pass two moves

  • It transposed to a French Defence. Before Black played pawn to e6 the opening is unnamed.

  • thanks george, there is actually a computer that tells the openings how cool!

  • Black doesn't control the centre of the board at the opening. That is why you managed to do that opening without getting interrupted.

  • I liked it, I'll try those ones

  • nice opening...sometimes i use this opening and win most of the time^^

  • I put the Opening into the Fritz 11 computer and it said it was the Queens Fianchetto/Nimzovich Defense.
