One of the most dangerous times is when snakes have to be moved to new quarters. They don't care if the old cage is dirty or they out grew it, it's their home and they don't want to leave.

hi viperkeeper i know nothing about keeping or handling poisonous snakes, but when i see you struggle with that hook i think there must surely be a better way..

wouldnt a litter picker be better? where you can hook the snake like normal but then squeeze a handle to change the hook into a hoop. so the snake cant go back on itself so long as youve got its tail.

just a thought.

@AndyMcNabStab They exsist already, just the snakes really panic because they see it a 'mouth' biting them on the back or tail. Hooks have been used forever, I'll stick with them thanks.
