  • i had one of these and totally destroyed it after a few rides the only electrics that were working was the headlights the back brake snapped then electric cables were falling out and the starter motor wouldnt work. total write off XD

my advice is to not get one unless you want a slow comfy ride, mine did 50 mph downhill at a push... sounds great though :P

  • @thetempests

I rode mine for over a year straight. Commuting daily. Covered 14,000 miles in the year, and only problem i had was the side stand switch. I rectified this myself in about 10-15minutes. The only reason i stopped using it, i got a car. The bike is still started once a week and run up.

I think i could do about 65/70mph at a poke. would cruise at 60.

Sounds like you had a dodgey one!

  • hi mate, thinking of buying one of these but it seems a few people are scepticle of the cheap price and that its chinese. Did you have to assemble yours yourself or was it ready to ride? it'll be my first bike, any problems?

  • @gripsfingers

I bought mine new ready assembled. I had no real problems with it. The kill switch under the side stand is internittant but easily rectified. Nice bike, comfy to ride, 200miles straight easy at 9500rpm all day. Average about 95mpg if you rag it, easily 110mpg if your careful. Ive still got this almost 2years on, no probroms to report. :)

  • Now tighten every nut and bolt! :)

Only joking; thanks for posting the vid. Any chance of seeing more of the bike itself?

  • Il make a vid of it in the light sometime soon. Tighten every nut n bolt - saying that, nearly lost the exhaust recently!!

    Thanks

  • tetley74 Hi just brought a vixen had it 3wks cracking little motorcycle,90+mpg around town handles like a dreamjust took it on a 65mile run, handles well in the bends for a cheap bike , lacks power to overtake but will do 62mph on the flat, wether you sit up or lie across the tank, keept up with an arrow which is a lighter bike, probaly the only small critasiem of the vixen is its heavy, but for a new bike under a grand what do you expect.

  • @thetempests Hi just brough a vixen had it 3wks does around 90+mpg(lots of over reving & raging) took it on a 65mile run handles like a dream for a 125 in the bends lacks power to overtake but would still do 62mph on the flat gr8 commuter bike and those twin pipes sound beautiful compared to most 125s sounds more like an old honda 250,,, so far so good
