  • I was there Dec 1 .It was awesome.Didnt get to see the Bashful Elephant formation though. They said that you had to take the ranger guide tour to see it

  • I was in Carlsbad Caverns around 1970 and the big room looks just as I remember it. Apparently they have opened up new tour areas that require autonomous lighting, they look like fun, if you don't mind getting dirty. The part of the lecture the source of hydrogen sulfide for carving out the caves goes a long way toward explaining why the calcium deposits are so well formed. I always thought it had to do with the age of the cave, very informative.

  • I visited Carlsbad a week ago. Its an amazing experience.

  • i think it will be cool to be in a cave.

  • I was there in 1981 on a high school trip. I was wearing shorts and a T-shirt and it got pretty dang cool. It's probably the coolest thing I've ever seen and I would love to go again.

  • yea i was there 5 days ago it rocked

  • I'm going there soon and i cant wait to see the big room

  • its a wonderfull experence
