  • In french polynesia, with longline we can fish albacore about 35 kilos. I will post video about that early.

  • Its always a great thing when you need two gaffs...

  • New Jersey had an insane albacore run this year. I heard of dozens of fish in the 60lbs range with a 73lbs fish being caught last week. They were mixed in with big yellowfin and bigeye, wich is strange because when we rarley do find them they are small and mixed in with bluefin in cooler water. This year they were huge, as big as they get anywhere in the world and found in warm gulfstream water with yellowfin, bigeye and wahoo.

  • i'd like to see someone catch an albacore tuna thats even close to that....... thumbs up if you agree!

  • My personal best is 67lbs. caught off of Dana Point during the first El nino in 86'

  • did you catch that sucker on sardine freeline?

  • @TheOldFisherman100 Morro Bay would be my guess. The biggest I boated was about 45lbs out of san diego. I'm in the army so I think I might take leave this fall if they show up.

  • You catch that on a pro gear? lol What test did you use? Nice fish
