Saito radial engine

This is my Saito radial engine. I have been used it on bench for a gallon of fuel. Engine is going to my RC model after i have been finished it.

Yes i did. I have Ziroli Stearman 77" for this engine.

beautiful engine , how does it run without glow power at idle?

It does run pretty well without glow. However i have onboard glow on rc-model because there is no other reasonable way to power up plugs. Those 5 plugs took about 25 amps to glow.

When you buy such an engine, for break in, you simply start it and let it run for at least an hour on full throttle. Then cool it down by throwing cold water on it! I'm an expert, I know what I'm talking about!
