Here is a time lapse video of me animating the 3rd shot in my 3D film "Ye Giants of Olde". You're seeing 2 hours 50 minutes in 2.5 minutes. I assumed this would be the most difficult shot to animate in my film, given the moving camera and all, so it was the first shot animated for the project, best to get the hardest one out of the way first.
The last half hour or so was spent trying to go back and fix a frame. I had forgotten for one frame to capture it on both computers (for the left- and the right-eye image. I finally figured out which frame I'd missed and did my best to reposition the windmill and car and wheels in exactly the right spot to take that missing frame. What a HUGE pain in the butt that was. And in retrospect, I could've just duplicated the previous or following frame and no one would have ever known the difference, what with the frames flying by at 18 FPS.
I hope you enjoy this little video experiment.
Is it just me, or is the car going backwards?
