Segway RMP 400 running GPO at Great Salt Plains (3min).avi

A modified Segway RMP 400 towing a trailer carrying two Geonics EM61-Mk2 metal detectors at a former bombing range in the Great Salt Plains area in Oklahoma. The system is capable of autonomously mapping a given field using various geophysical sensors, given the field's corner points. A combination of GPS and INS is used for navigation. The system was developed by Auburn and the Army Corp of Engineers Huntsville Center for the purpose of find unexploded ordnance (UXO).

Why did you go "Great Salt Plains" to test a 2mph wheelchair?! Just do it in your LA backyard. It's not as if this machine is going to break the land speed record!
