@k6cam Can't you watch stuff that is stored on your network? Can you attach an external HD with all of your movies/shows/etc and watch those from that??

I returned my Revue today after 10 days. I had some issues where it didnt want to stay connected to my preferred router in the house. I bought a new router last night, a nicer one, and it still likes to drop its connection although every other device in the house has no problems.

Nice video! I'm looking at getting this, but I have a couple of questions and seeing as how you're a fellow FiOS user too, I was wondering if you can answer them for me: 1) How do you go about shutting everything off? When you switch to the web-browser, for instance, does it turn your FiOS STB off?; 2) Can you access and play music and video files on another computer from the Revue?; and 3) Does it allow you to use any webcam for video calling instead of the Logitech-branded one? Thanks!

@zerodivide1 The tv stays on when you're on the web technically you just arent seeing it, which is why you need to run the audio through the box or you'll still hear TV when your looking at web. You can access other shares across a network, although I havent played with it, I do see my other PC's in the media player. I use an external HD typically. As far as a camera goes, Id imagine the chances of another brand working to be slim since these are so proprietary.

nicely made video. very helpful. thanks for posting it. did you have to use the IR blaster wire to have it control your FIOS box or was the built in blasters sufficient? does it tie into multiple devices like dvd players or only the cablebox?

@MetaBX I didnt have to use the IR blaster for anything. I have it running from the FIOS box to the Revue, the audio runs through the optical to my DVD (It doenst have hdmi in) and hdmi from revue to the HDMI switch some other devices including the TV.
