My new M4 muffler with a custom fit pipe from Performance Custom Cycles in El Paso. Thanks Chris and Paul. M4 made for 08 R6, slight diameter change. The pipe will be painted flat black soon. Sounds awesome but you need earplugs.

  • haha, yeah I wasn't crazy about cutting my fairings either, but dude its a heck of a lot smarter to get cut than no-cut. Ive heard numerous times that if you go down with cut sliders that you can put a hairline fractue in some of the fairings. And the brackets tend to break on hard impact

  • So I went down 5 Dec at 35mph on I-10 and dropped it on it's right side. No fractures on the frame from the sliders, but it did wear it down almost to the metal and fuck up the fairings and handgrip. Didn't last as long as I thought it would in a slide but it still saved my muffler and metal stuff.

  • are those cut sliders? Im looking at getting some shoguns

  • Honestly, I'm not sure. I had just bought it as my first bike and they offered to install some sliders. I said cool and tried not to think about them cutting through the fairings and frame to install them. Look cool though:)

  • Sorry to hear that :(.

Ive heard alot of people say that their sliders get worn down alot from just one crash, or when they slid
