@teppo42 I can buy a decent steak at the store for 8 dollars, I can get a cheap steak of the same size from a cheap restaurant for about 12-15 dollars, I can go to a higher end restaurant and the same size piece of meat would cost upwards of 20-25 dollars.
And If I go to a very fancy restaurant where they prepare specialty steaks of that size, I would be looking at up to 125$. Now take in account the exotic factor of beef vs a cobra and it's easy to see why the price is rather steep.

125 dollars for a cobra? That's just crazy. I bought one in Si Sa Ket in Thailand for 250 Baht, about 8 dollars.

@icynok I agree with icynok. I was born and raised in Vietnam for 13 years and I do understand what are the frustrations of Vietnamese people are experiencing. Jungle warfare and home turf was an important sources of the Vietnamese that led them to overpower the Americans.
