He Will Carry You (...Us)

To Snob: I personally couldn't fathom God's purpose for this, but I know, whatever it is, it is for our best. I just would like to assure you that am not giving up, am holding on though I don't know for how long. Am living a day at a time and I am putting my faith in Him alone. You don't know how down I am with this and I just offer all to God, begging Him to give me strength as I bear through each day. I praise Him and am humbled for His goodness and mercies to me, helping me make it day by day. I THANK GOD FOR YOU. I pray that despite of all these difficult circumstances, you will still be there for me, never giving up and always holding on, binded in God's promises of hope and blessings...BUT IF YOU WON'T, IT WILL ALWAYS BE FINE WITH ME. It is just that...I know what is going on...but as always, I just try to ignore them and say nothing for I know you'll be mad at me. Am aware about what's going on but I try not to bother you anymore. I just focus on where I could be happy and stay to where I could not be affected at all. Someday, God will give me my turn to be happy too and my hope is centered on that starting now. I just hope that you will realize the implications of your doing. I know...I just know what you've been up to...just do what can make you happy. You got my blessings!

In 1987, I sang it for a church talent rally at age 6 and won for best overall performance. I was asked to sing it at church the next day and it was the day that my friend Jacob and his family announced that he had a brain tumor and had leukemia. They announced right before I sang and he was in the front row of the church and so I ended up singing the song especially for and to him.
