@theMsIndependence - As far as I've read, Nap. Hill was influenced and taught from a decidedly unbiblical, even anti-biblical perspective and influences. I used to be in MLM/'network marketing', and my group in one of the MLMs was big on N. Hill, and so much more.

Perhaps you didn't know but the book that inspired Rhonda Byrnes was: The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles in 1910. The book precedes Napoleon Hill and Think and Grow Rich, but Wattles and Hill share the same basic tenets, namely that "thoughts are things." Hill's book explains how to embrace the "master mind" much in the same manner as Wattles. Both believe that you have a right to wealth because it is simply a desire for you to have a richer fuller and more abundant life.

So, just because I don't believe some of the things espoused by "The Secret", that means I don't believe in positive thinking? No so!
The things I disagree with about The Secret have to do with the Deity of Christ, and the existence of Heaven & Hell. I have a myspace page that elaborates on this myspace/mariannlisenbe
peace :-)
