Footage captured before, during and after the 2011 Sandia Peak MTB Championship race by Glynn David Harris, profiling Champion New Mexico Mountain Bike Racer Doug Schneebeck. Part of the View-Trend* More Than Digital Multimedia "ALS Exposé Documentary Compilation.

I spent Saturday (08/07/11) up at the Sandia Crest capturing documentary and oral history footage of the truly inspirational Doug Schneebeck; champion high endurance mountain bike racer & 400-meter hurdler (college track star & UNM track coach), husband, father, son, brother, respected attorney, and as I said, my new friend (and of his wife Jean, two of their children and his teammates) who was diagnosed with ALS in 2010, two days after his 50th birthday! His progressing ALS has led to bike and equipment modifications and has made training for Leadville 2011 even more of an uphill ride. I endeavoring to help others learn more about ALS via Doug's story, and follow his journey toward the "Attitude Meets Altitude" 2011 Leadville high endurance challenge! This is just a short clip from the day's documentary, as I have not yet finished logging all the hours of Canon footage I shot this past weekend, but ?Kellen Rulon, my production assistant on Saturday, captured this emotional (handheld) clip on my Motorola Droid X that I decided to post Sunday.
