Not that I'm aware of. You should look into it, though, because I'm not entirely sure.

hey Jonathan thanks for the vid...wondering if this remote works when stuffed in a pocket ...out of direct view from unti on camera...i want to take pics remotely but not with the remote in view as I ride on a bike

there is no bulb mode on the G11, but you can use CHDK to get longer exposures up to 5 mins i think it is.

Can you just have it dangle off the camera, if you want to use the flash?

Thanks for a great video. What I still don't understand is if I can use the remote I have from my old G6 with the G11, or if I should go with a third-party kit like this one?
