Grant Mattos came in eighth place on Survivor: Redemption Island after he was voted out by his own ally -- and eventual winner of the $1 million prize -- Boston Rob Mariano. After the live reunion show at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Grant talked with Ryan Haidet of RealityTVMagazine.com on the red carpet about his current relationship with Boston Rob while also declaring that he doesn't buy Phillip Sheppard's crazy stories.

wow its nice to see robs boyfriend again looks like hes doing good. maybe hes found another persons ass to kiss and ride them to decent success in another aspect of life.

I still don't understand the people that go on this show, after over 20 seasons, and still expect people to not backstab, lie, or manipulate to get ahead. It IS only a show/game. I also think his comment on Philip is off. Yes, Phil is an odd duck, but during the interview sessions during the actual show, he says what his gameplan is, he didn't show up at the end and just say that was his plan to justify his gameplay. Grant obviously has some issues, maybe someone from his past or something.
