  • Ive been watching your vids for a while now and i really enjoy the educational aspect of them, not so much the review even though you do them VERY well. I think it would be great if you did some purely educations videos. You seem to have a lot of cool product and as "new" watch collector, I would like to learn more from a reliable source! Just a thought from a fan :D

  • Great Review dude as all ways

  • So either buy really cheap (so once it's broken it's cheaply replaced), or spend those money on a brand that offer repairs. Like orbita, swisskubik etc. One of these can last 10 years before needing a cheap repair. In those 10 years you can have burned through 2-3 of these, and you'll have spent more money on it in the end. Just my two cents. Great review, though - as always. Huge fan of watchreport, so please don't take this the wrong way.

  • The thing is, wolf designs do not offer repairs. So you can buy a 2000$ winder, and once those 2 years have past, it's as much worth as a paperweight. If anything happens to it, you'll need to buy a new one. They will offer a discount for "returning customers" like this, but still. I read about someone who was 4 months over warranty, and like 6/8 barrels had stopped working. They told him he would need to buy a new one. This is why it's "expensive to buy a cheap brand".

  • These are not that good and WAY overpriced. Quite shoddy build quality - I bought one and the front panel and a knob was loose, and the rest of it felt really cheap for 450$ (I bought the 2x winder). You don't get the feeling that the price is justified, but rather that they cost nothing to produce and they just smack a rediculous pricetag on them to make an insane profit per sale.

Spend 150$ for a brookstone or something. Arguably better buildquality and a lot more realistic price.

  • I love this channel, amazing reviews. You need more exposure on Youtube. May I suggest you do a video where you talk about different types of watches, what you look for in watches. Frankly I am not as knowledge full as you in the subject.

  • Correction. They've been making jewelry boxes for 170 yrs, watch winders for 10-20.

  • Kool! Great review.

  • @Grantharrhy93 Hi Grant, I saw you posted this comment on another video. We have already reviewed a GW-3000 only a couple of months ago. I cannot post the link here but if you google "watchreport and gw 3000" you will find it. We posted it April 29th, 2011.
