  • Rachel is being incredibly misleading to her viewers, plans from the far left or right will not be considered as they wouldn't have the votes to pass them.

  • Dems had four years with no budget, five if you count the Senate. The foolishness of pretending it's the other sides fault is at an end, the result of what we do is gonna hurt, already has. Tax cuts historically hurt the economy worse than government cuts, tax laws are insane, wars that bring no benefit to our homeland are insane, the system is broken to the point that Bachman is a candidate, Maddow is an "expert" and the two party system will give us more far left and right to choose from.

  • A budget that makes sense? It will never be on the table nor get much coverage.

Even Obama's crappy budget met with absolute denial by the GOP, a budget that actually make sense would just be ignored.

  • this makes too much sense for it to work.

  • republicans just want to send this country back into the stone age.

  • So much for the "Change we can believe in," for what we in fact got was the third term of Bush-Cheney. Obama's greatest claim when he ran for president? He beat Alan Keyes for a U.S. Senate seat from Illinois.

Rather than the FDR we so dearly needed (with some of the trust-busting and environmentalism of TR), we got another Wall Street, Banking and Industry lackey.

At the very least, this stunning disappointment has set progressive politics in this country back by at least a generation.

  • Thanks for uploading.

  • And hence my letter to the LA Times - when it promised to break down the 3 plans... turns out the 3 plans we have to chose from are the Obama Plan, Ryan Plan and the Obama Deficit Commission Plan - three Republican-based plans. They didn;t even mention the CPC Plan.

  • @hal2jim me too!

  • I've been trying to tell people about the CPC Budget for weeks. Spread the word! Shout it from the roof tops!
