SECRET OF LIFE: is just a never ending obsession of image and material, he figured that out which just means hes not distracted by image and material objects, just wish he could have passed on the knowlage and helped unlock minds corupted by fake musicians corrupted governments and lies. and ultimately help people realise that all that really matters in this life is love for each other peace and bliss.

secondly, CNN did not even present any of the advantages of salvia. One of the most important things of good journalism/reporting is presenting a COUNTER argument, and letting people choose which side they want for themselves. You shouldn't be involved personally with the facts you are presenting. they should be dry and devoid of any human touch.
so we can conclude that CNN is not journalism/news reporting, it is merely entertainment, and not in the slightest bit is it pleasantly entertaining.

first of all, its a very very popular and succesful philosophy that life has no purpose (absurdism, existentialism). So the fact that one came to this conclusion via mind altering substances is not surprising. however, its just a philosphy, which means a way of seeing things.
this way of thinking was just a CATALYST in this dumb kid's suicide. he didnt commit suicide because life has no meaning. he committed suicide because he was probably prone to depression, and this just sparked things

The truth is that 80x or 100x salvia stuff is a way more intense and fucked up trip than lsd or shrooms which are automatic felonies in all states. people laughing at their friends while they loose their mind ARE in fact doing that because they feel safe because the govt hasn't forbid them from doing it. Wake up kids, your parents pills, alcohol and salvia are real drugs. treat them with some fucking respect. DMT is waaaay better btw.

Brett probably actually did find out the damn secret to life.

why would people want to make salvia illegal i don't get it 0.o it's not even bad for you

I am sorry for her lose. However, fault/responsibility lies with the parent(s) not the drug. If this kid thought there was no point to life maybe his mom should have treated him better. I hate this mentality that 1 person can ruin it for the rest of us. We don't ban alcohol because people die from drunk driving every year. Or how many people have committed suicide while under the influence of alcohol? and why doesn't BBC go interview all these moms about banning alcohol.
-
They want to ban Salvia because Brett smoked it in the days before his suicide. But they won't release the 8 pages of his suicide not. So who knows why he really took his own life. This is just media hype. Many people have smoked Salvia and had revelations, but none of them turned into emo kids and killed themselves.
brett your a retard. glad your dead.

What pisses me off a little is that that mother doesn't know her son. Obviously his is an extreme case, but she needs to open her eyes and realize that her little baby isn't what she thought he was.
And I'm not saying that because I smoke a lot of salvia--I actually have yet to try it--I say it out of experience. I see my mother in that woman. I love my mom to death, but she doesn't always know me like she thinks she does.
