The reason the audience couldn't hear Fred was because the promoters turned off the PA to try to settle the crowd. I was there and it was chaos. They kept broadcasting audio to the pay per view audience but we couldn't hear anything. It was a disaster of epic proportions. When RATM came on afterwards they turned down the PA significantly to try and quell the chaos in the audience. Again, the pay per view audience had no idea what was happening. You had to be on the ground to fully appreciate it.
