5)Sikhs have faught in many conflicts throughout their history...it is in our blood to survive and prosper...we are saint-warriors so why shouldn't we fight for the country's that we live in today, be it Pakistan OR India or any other country for that matter. Hindus who hate Muslims so much need to conquer their fear because it really shows when they start squalling from behind their computer screens - at least Muslims recognise that we are different from them

@BRRUUUAAHHable it has protected hindus for centuries. why is it that punjab is the gateway into the rest of india but all of india was conquered by british before punjab. the only reason punjab fell was due to back stabbing hindus and ranjit singhs death. sikhism has given birth to the greatest warriors in history.if haryana punjab and northern india were to seperate you would all starve and economy would be devasted. and imagine the indian army without sikh jatt and punjab regiment .

That might help some, but something that is fitted close to the skull offers poor protection against a bullet strike. If bullet is technically stoppoed by a helment, if the energy is transferred to the helmet, the helment becomes as deedly as the bullet.

@VictorLepanto yes nowadays during many operation, Sikhs has started wearing "patka" [which is worn under the turban] and on that helmet can be easily made fit.....but it is worn by Sikhs during operational or combat hours not always.

@VictorLepanto we are being able to survive with that turban only....turban is our pride and honour and we will never leave that thing.....you should go through the sikh history in order to find how much turban is important to sikhs.....a sikh will choose to be beheaded instead of removing his turban!

(read through my comment carefully) - you're making this very personal...why do you want to know where I live - of what relevance is that??? I ask you again how many Sikhs call themselves Hindus??? As far as I can see you are proud of your Sikh freind and I am proud of my culture - so we both agree - you should spend your time maybe posting a video about the Marathas - i'll come visit there.
