Call of Duty 4: Enemy Intel Glitch

I was playing the campaign on veteran and i picked up an enemy intel and right when i picked it up i got to another checkpoint and i died shortly after and after every time it picked it up again...it started to juts keep on counting every time i died.. it also started to go over 30...
