No custominzation at all. I like it a lot becose i know what to do and not wasting my time for making pots and other shit. (not that i dontlike Oblivion and Fallout3)if you like the story telling you will like it... if you prefer more sandbox game you will not like it :)

it is bloody like Fo3, decapitation and stuff, a little bit of erotica, (a little!!)so yeah 18....and i think the story is more mature. It is closed world so you cant go wher you want, are you make quest in one region and when you done you go to next region. It is story about Gerald...and you animate him and he is a ... a.. witcher (a mix of warrior and mage and alchemist ) so you cant play as an elfen mage.

thinking about getting the enhanced edition soon, how well does it match up to other games like fo3 and oblivion?
can you custom your characters look at all?
and can my 11 year old bro play it? or is it strictly 18+ ?

Better than Oblivion? Niiice. I think I've spent 100's of hours on that game. I already got my copy of The Witcher, but I'm waiting for my new PC to arrive before I go and play the game (my old one is single core and 512mb video). But Dellienware keeps delaying my order grrr
