  • oh, and also Yesterdays Gone, really connected with that one lol

  • Unholy Thoughts to me is the most bloc party sounding track on the album, coming from a huge bloc-head myself, and is probably my fav. Everything You Wanted and New Rules are pretty great lyrically, and Walk Tall is just great music to get amped up too haha

  • nice vid man.. i love him.. i love bloc party. huge inspiration.

  • I really like on the lam

  • :)

  • "club music sounding" wow fucking insightful

  • "Unholy Thoughts" is probably my least favourite, it's probably the most generic, certainly the least original. I'm a massive Bloc Party fan, love all 3 of their albums. Kele's solo album is my favourite album of the year so far. Real variety in the album that a lot of artist can't pull off without screwing up the album's flow.

Personal favourites are "Rise" (the gorgeours build into a screaming, ripping electro-dance section), "The New Rules" and "Yesterday's Gone" (love the lyrics).

  • @ErickWithNoK i review my own albums....

  • I agree that "Unholy Thoughts" was probably the most 'Bloc Party' lick on there,

my favorite was "The New Rules" I'm truly a sucker for acoustic and the live version

from beobloe had me wanting to marry kele!

I know Gordy is doing Young Legionnaire or something like that,

Russell is doing the Pin Me Down,

and Matt is doing absolutely nothing, but i wish he would!

All of them are so talented, but Kele has taken the biggest plunge,

so he will end up being the most successful out of the four.

  • Everything you wanted makes me cry every time I listen to it - awesome, gives me the shivers! can't wait to see him perform live in November
