AU: Ryan/Marissa/Trey - Face Down

AU: Trey and Marissa are dating. Ryan and Marissa are really great friends, and Ryan secretly likes her. Trey begins abusing Marissa and Ryan figures it out. Marissa always forgives Trey after he hits her. One day at school when Trey starts getting aggressive with her, Ryan comes running, and he backs off a bit, Marissa is relived to see him. She pays for it later though, as he hurts her again later that night. Ryan chews him out for it. Even though it seems Marissa has immediately forgiven Trey. But, as they're making out she finds herself pushing him away, he's confused at first, then shrugs it off and continues. Marissa starts getting jumpy and Ryan takes notice. Later that day she sees Trey waiting for her after school. She doesn't walk up to him. Feeling bad she waits outside his work later on and gives him a hug. Marissa's friend Summer sees the bruise and questions it, but Marissa tries to ignore her and make up an excuse. Trey and Marissa are on fine terms until they take a walk and he starts in and tries attacking her. Marissa finally fights back and gets away. She finally lets Summer in on all that's happened, and then tells Ryan about the latest attack. Ryan gets pissed and goes and fights Trey. Trey's just about to kill Ryan when Marissa comes in and sees this and finds a gun on the ground and shoots Trey. Ryan and Marissa end up together in the end.
