With a style that blends numerous genres, and lyrics loaded with bold narratives, Cormorant's Dwellings reads like a modern metal storybook.

What do you think of this album? Love it? Hate it? Why? What should I review next, eh?

  • 666 videos, hmmmm,..... SATAN! lol XD

  • @ThatDanmGuy (ctd. 2) showcasing a wide variety of harsh vocal techniques and an understatedly gorgeous singing voice. Overall, this album constantly demonstrates the experience to write complex, difficult, diverse music tempered with the maturity to not disregard the value of simplicity and continuity. For the time being, this warrants a strong 7/10 to me.

  • @ThatDanmGuy (ctd.) very strong structuring and writing throughout. The band can wield with equally proficiency an enormous, open doom and post metal sound in one moment and a tight, energetic progressive metal onslaught in the next, yet they never seem to lose track of a song's purpose, atmosphere, or melodic flow. Each band member is respectably skilled in his respective instrument, both tonally and technically. Despite any gripes I have about the vocals, he displays undeniable talent,

  • I don't appreciate this album as much as some listeners - it takes heavy influences from black, sludge, and post metal, several genres I usually find unappealing. Furthermore, I find their vocalist's harsh vocals' tones unpleasant, dislike how "distant" the production makes him sound via a low volume and mild echo effects, and rarely listen to lyrics. However, I still find a lot to enjoy here. The band seamlessly blends and transitions between numerous genres, moods, and textures, and features

  • This album is absolutely incredible. Buy it and support the band -- they release their music independently!

  • im there bands drummers cosin neddle drop

  • hey Anthony. Hope you had a blessed Christmas.

thanks for recommending Cormorant to me, this album was a great first listen but it has grown so much on me since then, truly amazing. Thanks a lot.

  • @theneedledrop Sure it is.
