  • So by lesson you mean that we should sit beside a metronome and try to perform sweeps at different speeds? Like how exactly did u learn how to sweep that fast?

Check my "Lick of the Week" series

  • I think it sounded much cooler at the slower parts =/

  • @LichKingSkullWart Chord theory (what notes make up a chord), Intervals, Intervalic relations between chords (substitutions) and of course knowing all the notes and their positions relative to the fingerboard are good suggestions to start with.

  • @dasheefo yeah, it's painful, but worth it.

  • SEXtuplets

  • @dasheefo its pretty much progression... i got a 3 string sweep in 2 days and got fast at it in less than a week then i went from 3 to 4 string sweeps... felt the same as a 3 string so i went to 5 then that was moderate.. 6 string sweeps in less than a month im still working on. BUT practicing nothing but sweeps for 30min. - 3 hours will increase greatly

  • man i learned alot...

  • Great sweeps, but where is the tab on your new site?
