Este tercer video de mi serie dedicada a la luna (El Conejo de la Luna) trata de la silueta de un conejo que se forma en la superficie de la luna y de las fases de la propia luna. Con estos dos elementos y algo de lógica generé un sistema para poder determinar en un vistazo la fase en que se encuentra la luna. Este método te lo comparto.
También comentaba sobre la leyenda maya del conejo de la luna, que dice así:
Kukulkán, dios grande y bueno, se fue a viajar una vez por el mundo en figura de hombre. Como había caminado todo un día, a la caída de la tarde se sintió fatigado y con hambre. Pero todavía siguió caminando, hasta que las estrellas comenzaron a brillar y la luna se asomó a la ventana de los cielos. Entonces se sentó a la orilla del camino, y estaba allí descansando, cuando vio a un conejito que había salido a cenar.
Kukulkán le preguntó al conejo.
-¿Qué estas comiendo?
-Estoy comiendo pasto, ¿quieres comer un poco? dijo el conejo.
-No gracias, yo no como pasto.
-¿Qué vas hacer entonces?
-Es posible que muera de hambre y sed, señaló el dios.
El conejo se acercó y le dijo:
-Pues yo sólo soy un insignificante conejo, pero si tienes mucha hambre puedes comerme.
En ese momento Kukulkán se agachó para acariciar al conejo y contestó:
-Tú no serás más que un conejo, pero te prometo que todo el mundo se ha de acordar de ti para siempre.
Tomó al conejo y lo levantó tan alto que dejó su imagen en la luna, después lo regresó a la tierra.
-Ahora todo el mundo podrá ver tu imagen de luz para siempre.
También una antigua versión japonesa habla de un anciano peregrino que al detenerse a descansar, se encuentra con un mono, un zorro y un conejo. El hombre pide a cada uno de ellos que lo ayuden a conseguir alimento.
El mono consigue frutas de un árbol, el zorro obtiene un ave, pero el pobre conejito no encuentra nada. Entonces decide preparar una hoguera y cuando estaba a punto de saltar al fuego el viejo descubrió su verdadera identidad, ya que era un poderoso Dios. Apenado por el animalillo, quiso inmortalizar su noble acto dejando para siempre su estampa en la luna.

He took the rabbit and rose so high that left his image on the moon, then returned it to the ground.
-Now everyone could see your light image forever.
Also an ancient Japanese version speaks of an old pilgrim to stop and rest, he meet to a monkey, a fox and a rabbit. The man asks each of them to help him get food.
The monkey gets fruit from a tree, the fox gets a bird, but the poor bunny does not find anything. Then decides to make a fire and when he was about to jump into the fire the old discovered his true identity, as he was a powerful god. Sorry for the little animal, wanted to immortalize his noble act of leaving his mark forever on the moon.
