Reception of shortwave pirate radio station "Wolverine Radio". Received on 6930 khz USB @ 0233 UTC 13MR10 using a Perseus SDR from west Michigan. SSTV image decoded with MMSSTV (no VAC required).

  • "no VAC required" will depend on your OS and your sound card. I also do not need a VAC for my Perseus, my SDR-IQ, my SDR-14, or my Excalibur. But I have seen others, and tried to help them, that could not do recording or digital demod in the same PC as the SDR without a VAC.

    Wolverine comes in here in California pretty well, but the SSTV shots are generally not quite as clear as yours is in this vid. I will have to record one and throw it up with my other radio vid captures.
