  • are gauges only for manual cars or for automatic as well?

  • @EdsCollegeLife its an O2 sensor gauge, so will work on any engine with an O2 sensor - gearbox is unrelated :)

  • Is there any way to slow them down like you can a tach? With a tachometer you can add a resistor and it smooths out the needle.

How would you slow the A/F so it stays longer in the more common regions. i.e Lean, rich or stoich? Because narrow band can be made useful if they had alot of lag (Even by half a second or 1 second).

  • @NorkiddExo No idea! I'll be fitting a wideband sensor and gauge once I've finished my engine conversion anyway ;)

  • narrowband gauges are supposed to act like that

  • @taiden yeah i know :)

  • dude spend a lil money and get a wide band. narrow tells you nothing at wot... come on.

  • i hate analog afr gauges they are really annoying

  • it might be the ecu cutting the gas in small period of time! thats why the injection sys are more economic than the carburetor type.

  • How in the world are supposed read that needle oscillation like that?
