60163 Tornado and 4468 mallard caught on camera 23 June 2010

I think the title says it all. Move of the decade along with the 6229 move in 2009. New build 60163 Tornado drags 60022 Mallard to the greenhouse at shildon on 23rd of June. The turnout everywhere along the ECML was amazing. I do not own the images but are being used to show people some images from the day who couldnt make it to the move themselves. All credit goes to the NRM, A1 Steam trust and of course the owners of the phots themselves (:

Has the Mallard got her licence back?

@mecrazy5 Nope she doesnt need a license to be dragged. she had to undergo a fitness to run examination last thursday and friday before an nesscerary parts were taken off as a precaution eg connecting rods and oil boxes were topped up.

Very Good. I think Mallard Should Have Been Pulled By the second fastest steam loco. That would be good!
