  • Much too young to be taken. May God bless him. "EVERY WHERE"

  • I heard Mark Dailey may get his star on Canada's Walk of Fame. Mark rightfully deserves his place in history.

  • Simple Plan brought me here. RIP Mark Dailey

  • REST IN PEACE

  • @nljuggalo

I remember reading somewhere it was Neil Peart's voice on the original recording.

Now that you mention this I can Mark's voice saying ''Subdivisions''

  • A personal favourite: "Coming up next on Great Movies, it's The Bodyguard starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Huston ... and that song that we've just heard so much."

  • I think of Toronto and I hear the words "This is CityTV. Everywhere". Mark Dailey's voice is deeply ingrained in my head and it felt like a personal loss when I heard that he had passed. Like many others I grew up listening to him on CityTV ... I knew the voice long before I could recognize the face. My love of movies was instilled at a young age watching Great Movies and his introductory quips are still quoted on a regular basis around my house.

  • Sadly, it was when I found out that he died I learned that he wasn't the guy who did the "Subdivisions" voice (Rush song). R.I.P.

  • I grew up listening to this mans voice, it pains me that cancer had to take his life.

RIP Mark Dailey, Gods with you.

  • @hanksnow82 Hanks, I knew Mark personally. He taught me a lot and had a wife and grown daughters and a son in law. They were all beside him that morning he passed. He was NOT GAY! Please respect him. I love gay ppl but no jokes here.
