Hi mate, I know you used REX but apart from that what other addons, in particular what gave you that awesome looking grass. I recently built a rig for FSX including a 2600K processor and ASUS GTX 580, I am however new to addons and was surprised to see the graphics are still not very impressive with my new machine. Any addon recommendations? Thanks

errm sir i have spec with I7-925 with GTX580 but i can only get around 20 fps

and for the ORBX i get around 10-15 fps

is overclock necessary for increasing the FPS?

@HDOnlive 8 month's later and I've spent most of the time getting all my hardware working the way I want it while not busy at work. still no improvements on my graphics, installed ORBX Australia, REX, ORBX YMML, ORBX YPAD, all REX Freeware. There must be tweaking u guy's do who post great vids like this, I know u edit it a bit but I saw so many inspirational video's on youtube before building, and I'm not getting close to them. (I7 2600K @4.8, GTX 580)

@kenupcmac I don't know about that. I'm running 6 month old hardware i7 2600k with an ATI 6970 and even with optimized cfg files and correct install/setup I have glitches and stutters. The GTX580 is proven to run much better with FSX. nVidia actually acknowledged FSX when designing their cards.

People go on about Crysis not running on machines in 2007 but FSX with add ons doesn't run on machines made 6 years after it was launched.

BY THE WAY YOUR VIDEO IS POINT LESS DESPITE IT LOOK VERY GOOD BUT THERE IS NO POINT FOR 580gtx ON such a old game.... should wait for new FSX
