@bcolby89 cool. there are definitely some bands with really good instrumentation that i would call hardcore punk though, i dont think having skills should be a limitation, its more about the energy and style in my opinion

u shuld check out coachwhips or the hunches

And you must remember, instrument skill is kinda counter to the whole "Hardcore Punk" ethos. And singing, thats just whatever each person likes. I don't like his voice, I like Rollins more.

@bcolby89 better musicians is what i mean, dave longstreth is brilliant. dirty projectors have really unique sound and black flag just isn't very good in my opinion. i love punk and respect punk with good instrumentation and singing.
