  • Yeah, totally.

In fact, people shouldn't play instruments in general because other people have gotten famous with them.

Seriously, what posers contemporary musicians are.

  • Beautiful.

  • @bcolby89 ironic how i found black flag through dirty projectors

  • @bcolby89 we disagree

    all of us do

  • holy shit, this is fucking horrible

  • @bcolby89 cool. there are definitely some bands with really good instrumentation that i would call hardcore punk though, i dont think having skills should be a limitation, its more about the energy and style in my opinion

u shuld check out coachwhips or the hunches

  • @zapptgummi Fair enough for you view, though I wouldn't really call DP punk, maybe alternative based but not punk.

And you must remember, instrument skill is kinda counter to the whole "Hardcore Punk" ethos. And singing, thats just whatever each person likes. I don't like his voice, I like Rollins more.

  • @bcolby89 better musicians is what i mean, dave longstreth is brilliant. dirty projectors have really unique sound and black flag just isn't very good in my opinion. i love punk and respect punk with good instrumentation and singing.

  • @zapptgummi . Different strokes for different folks there pal, but in my honest opinion that is no. Black Flags importance on punk and alternative is forever undeniable, Dirty Projectors are just some modern hipster band that will be forgotten in a decade.

  • dirty projectors are better then black flag.

  • Hardcore Punk should never be redone in a funk/r&b style. Just no

  • please die!!!
