A wall built in a multicultural L.A. community separates two worlds: on one side, Guillermo, Alma, Kent and their families, who came to the neighborhood to enjoy a quiet, middle-class lifestyle. On the other, the "Drunk Tank," a very loud, very punk rock party house where Danger, Boner, Eyeball and their friends raise dust and eyebrows with their raucous weekly dodgeball games and x-rated attitude towards life. What is this wall? A buffer? A line separating two visions of the community? Two interpretations of our life in America? These are some of the questions raised by this slice-of-life urban film.
