I wish I had found this video earlier so I could have addressed islamresponse111's claim that Isaac was 40 and Rebeka was 3 when they married. Isaac was 40, that's said plainly in Scripture. However, Rebeka is described as going to the well with her pitcher on her shoulder, and gave Abraham's servant and his camels water to drink. This is how the servant knew this would be Isaac's wife. Now tell me, how can a 3 year old do that? This account is in Genesis 24.

The background is that the Arabs did not concentrate on counting years and their count of years is inaccurate.The Quraysh were always persecuting Prophet Muhammad (saw). If marrying girls at young ages and consummating the marriage once puberty was reached was abnormal, disgusting, or sinful; Don't you think the Quraysh and jews of madinah would have jumped all over this?
