  • @joshycrampton I think that this one has something like Ubuntu Software Center, maybe just a bigger amount of apps which is very good if it's so...

  • The big problem of Moblin is the ZONES, take much time to switch between aplications. Taskbar are still better.

  • Moblin support 3G for a few types of netbook, it depends on which model/manufacturer you use

  • Ubuntu, based on Debian, is using .deb files while the original Moblin is based on Fedora, which is based on Red-Hat, and uses .rpm files..

    the difference is nothing serious, since there's software that helps work with both files (alien)

  • UMR is the Moblin GUI on top of the Ubuntu system
